i am freaking disappointed with this particular lecturer in my school.
he's damn biased to singaporeans. he thinks that every single singaporean writes in broken english!
gosh, he's so unprofessional, judging me based on that!
argh!

Summer Prog in China for 9 Weeks

hey my dear frens,

after i reach singapore on 8nov, i will be heading off to Hangzhou (Zhejiang University) on 28nov for 4 weeks, den have a week of own travel, and spend another 4 weeks in Beijing (Beijing Institute of Education).

After which i will be back in singapore on 1feb 2010, den leaving for perth on 20feb 2010.
due to limited time, i might not be able to meet some of u =(

if air tix is cheap in june i might go back for vacation, we'll see...

and btw people, blogger and facebook are banned in China, so i will not be able to get any of ur msgs and i will not be able to blog of cos! if there's anything u could send an email to kikimamamia@hotmail.com or call me once i get my china mobile prepaid card, or msn! i guess i should be bringing my laptop there.

my very own homemade wanton mee! =D

and i tell u it tastes good! esp. the char siew hee =))

this is the soup. there's dried red dates, xiang gu (black mushrooms),
chicken drumsticks, pepper, salt, sugar, sesame oil, chicken stock, qi zi
(lycium berries - red coloured eye-like thingy), lotus, minced garlic, abalone sauce.

fried wanton - inside consists of minced pork and sliced xiang gu (black mushrooms).
I marinated the minced pork then wrapped the
fillings with wanton skin n fried them in healthy olive oil.

char siew - marinated the pork overnight with my secret recipe. baked one side for 20 min, flip over and bake for another 20min, den brushed honey on one side and bake for another 2-3min.

vegetables' the simplest task - juz boil them!
and how long depending on how crunchy u love them!

i'm really happy!! my efforts did pay off! and the last subject which i scored a credit was 3 marks away from distinction, so i must work even harder for the upcoming semesters! thank God! =D

exams are OVER and it means FUN!!! =D

exams are finally over and i'm pretty satisfied wif my work tis sem, hope my results would show my efforts =) n so we went down to freo for cicerello's (fish & chips) and little creatures (brewery).
