academic updates!

april is pretty satisfied with her work so far for this semester!! hee~
but i noe i must not be complacent.
i got back my essay plan for politics of the mass media in which i churned out my own topic instead of following the tutorial topics:

To what extent do the Chinese government have control over the media?
(if u're thinking "aahh it's china again!" lol~ but i dunno why i juz love to write abt china and i'm discovering more and more abt tis country which shld not be overlooked, esp. in times like now when it's a rising superpower on the global stage!)

And guess what? i got 80/100 =)
my tutor said this is a very gd qn n he's looking forward to reading my final essay and he said it's very well done and thorough! =D ok now i feel pressured if i'll screw it up haha~

And i got my psychological research methods quiz results yesterday-it's 60 questions in all and i got 92/100 =) the average mark for the cohort is 70.6 with a standard deviation of 13 (if u do stats u'll understand wat it means haha), and out of 300 students in the cohort, only abt 27 students scored above 90 =D

I juz had my politics of the mass media presentation tis morning-it's abt the main factors that affect the media's capacity to hold a mirror up to society. thought it went pretty ok, hoping not to get a bad mark!

and now i needa start on my essay for international relations in east asia in which the topic (abt the sustainability of china's international power and influence) is wat i have posted in one of the recent entries previously. so now i'm gonna start on my research!
